The area is reminiscent of the British countryside with its main towns of Mittagong, Bowral and Moss Vale closely connected with interesting villages and hamlets such as Bundanoon, Burrawang, Berrima, Robertson, Fitzroy Falls, Exeter, Canyonleigh and Sutton Forest. All have a treasure-trove of award-winning restaurants, wineries, gardens open to the public, antique stores, markets, farm-gate fresh-fruits and vegetables, historical sites and natural wonders.
Bowral is the worlds spiritual home of Cricket and Sir Donald Bradman with the newly opened world class International Cricket Hall of Fame. The region also offers championship golf courses, cycling tracks and glorious scenic drives.
And yes it does get cold in winter, but cosy fires keep you warm and in summer you can escape the humidity for the cooler Highlands.
