Mangrove Walk

Cullendulla Creek Nature Reserve, Myamba Parade, Surfside, NSW 2536 Australia

7000 years of shoreline events are preserved in the “cheni¬er” dune complex at Cullendulla Creek Nature Reserve on the NSW South Coast, a place studied by scientists around the world. The reserve protects one of the largest stands of mangroves south of Sydney and has significant Aboriginal middens and burial sites.

The Mangrove Walk winds through exceptional landscape via a 300m boardwalk and the beach at low tide or a track behind the beach at high tide. There are informative signs along the way.

For more enjoyment, start the walk from Batemans Bay and take in the foreshore scenery along the way.
